Full curriculum taught: Yang and Chen style T'ai Chi - hand forms, Qigong for health, weaponry, partnerwork, Ba Gua, Hsing Yi, meditation and philosophy. Private lessons for more experienced players. Our aim is to provide a balanced practice using t'ai chi principles that can be applied to all areas of life.
We offer classes and seminars in the South Lakes and North Lancashire area - Windermere, Kendal, Ambleside, Staveley, Arnside, Broughton in Furness, Milnthorpe, Warton, Lancaster.

Senior Instructors: Dee Swift and John Bolwell
John Bolwell (Hon. Vice President Tai Chi Union of Great Britain) is one of the most experienced teachers and practitioners in Britain. He has nearly 40 years martial and healing arts experience. He has been a full time teacher for most of those years with Pennine T'ai Chi, and was a founder member of the Tai Chi and Chi Kung Forum for Health.
Dee Swift (Senior Instructor TCUGB) has been a Tai Chi and Qigong teacher for more than 20 years, most of that time in the Lake District and Cumbria. She has taught many other tai chi teachers on the Certificate in Tai Chi for Health course for the Tai Chi and Chi Kung Forum for Health, and the other teachers who are listed on this website.
John and Dee were married in 2009 and both continue to share their enthusiasm and skills in Tai Chi and Qigong.

Registered Instructors: Hazel Hunt, Mike Leese and Steve Tomlinson
Hazel, Mike and Steve are registered instructors with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain.
Hazel is a qualified nurse and as well as the usual curriculum, specialises in working with elderly client groups or groups with special health needs.
Mike's classes are open to all based in the Furness area, and Steve's to those in the Ambleside and Windermere area.
All our teachers are fully insured.
